Established in 2003, AAPS is an English-language private owned university. The college specializes in food, healthcare and pharmaceutical. It is located in the North York district of Toronto. Dr. Barghian and Laleh Bighash were the two people who envisioned the success of college. Their main vision was to integrate a simulated work environment into an academic setting. 
In 2007, AAPS became the first private college offering diploma programs in Clinical research. Then in 2010, they launched online certification courses. Finally in 2014, they became the first private career college in Canada to offer a ministry approved diploma program in professional Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance. Facts: 1. The lab has plenty of space for the students to conduct their experiments and research work. The students are made to work independently as well as in groups with direct access to tools.
