The Landmark Technology Centre or CAT for short is a post-secondary school that offers diploma programs in fields such as photography, graphic design, audio engineering, photography and network security. With state-of-the-art industry equipment, students are trained so that they are ready to step into the field of their specialisation, as soon as their course reaches completion. 
Located in the Landmark Technology Centre, the Centre for Arts and Technology was established in 2002 and has been going strong ever since. With a Professional Development Program, student advising and personalised tutoring, CAT is dedicated to providing their students with the best training possible. Facts: 1. The first European to settle in Kelowna was a French Roman Catholic Oblate missionary, Father Pandosy, in 1859. Kelowna was incorporated in 1905. Important landmarks/places nearby: If you are interested in learning about regional history, we recommend you begin by visiting the Okanagan Heritage Museum. From Waterfront Park and Stuart Park to Guisachan Heritage Park and Kasugai Gardens, you would have much to explore in the campus vicinity. Myra Canyon Adventure Park and the Kelowna Corn Maze are other good places to go if you want an action-packed day. Crime rate: Kelowna has recently reported the largest percentage of increase in crime rate in Canada. The metropolitan area’s crime rate stands at 10,747 incidents per 100,000 residents which is the second-highest crime rate in the country. We recommend you do some research of your own before making any final calls. Nearby Airports: While you are studying in Centre for Arts and Technology, Kelowna, the nearest airport would be the Kelowna International Airport. Since this airport is just 20 minutes away from the campus, you don’t need to worry about any other options. Nearby Subways and train stations: Travelling by train isn’t an option so we recommend you make the most of the bus route. Opting for the bus would also be more pocket-friendly. A number of bus stops are located just a couple minutes away from the campus. These include: Springfield at Dayton, Sutherland at Chandler, Sutherland at Pacific and Springfield at Kirschner.
