History
Chatham University started as a Pennsylvania Female College in 1869. Its name has been changed two times, once in 1890 with the name Pennsylvania College for Women and then to its current name Chatham College in 1955.
The university got public attention when it decided to consider giving admission to male students in 2014. In 2015 finally men began studying undergraduate programs.
