Students who wish to be independent during their language course and take it easy in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with international backpackers may choose to stay at a youth hostel. We have an arrangement with a hostel situated only 15 min from the EURASIA Institute using public transport. The hostel offers single and shared rooms including a breakfast buffet.

In a shared apartment, you will have your room, while the kitchen and bathrooms are shared with other flatmates. Board (e.g. breakfast) is not available with this accommodation type. This option gives you a chance to meet new people from different backgrounds.

</ul>

Living with a homestay during your German language course in Berlin will not only be of great help to you in learning the German language fast, but it is an interesting intercultural experience as well. Some students feel more comfortable living in a homestay rather than in a youth hostel, a shared apartment, or a student residence. If you choose this option, you will have your furnished room, while the kitchen and bathrooms are shared. Homestays can be booked with or without meals.

Conclusion

Eurasia does not offer any scholarships. Don&rsquo;t forget though that, once you have successfully completed your German language studies at Eurasia, tuition at public universities in Germany is generally free! The institution will therefore open the door to genuinely affordable and high-quality university studies.

It is a very cosmopolitan place, with close to 4 million inhabitants and yet, even though it is the capital city of Germany, Berlin has a lower cost of living than other major German cities, such as Frankfurt, Munich, and Hamburg.</li>

	<li>The climate is&nbsp;moderately continental, characterized by cold winters, with average temperatures around freezing (0 &deg;C or 32 &deg;F), and moderately warm summers, with daytime temperatures hovering around 25 &deg;C (77 &deg;F).</li>
	<li>The city is the capital of Germany and is located in the north-east of the country, at 52 degrees north latitude. The city is exposed to both cold and warm air masses, so both the weather and the temperature are highly variable.</li>
	<li>As happens in the big cities, in Berlin, there is an&nbsp;urban heat island, where temperatures are higher, typically by one or two degrees Celsius, compared with the surrounding countryside, especially at night and in winter.
