Available Scholarships

Newcastle University provides financial aid in form of grants, scholarships, student employment, graduate fellowships, etc. to every student, including international students as well. On average, university students gets partial and full-fee scholarships ranging from 8,000 to 24,000 GBP. International students at Newcastle University can apply for a variety of scholarships, including:

• Chancellor's International Vice-Scholarships

Every year, 200 of these scholarships are awarded to international undergraduate and graduate students. They each have a value of 1,500-5,000 GBP. Applicants must be Indian, Indonesian, Malaysian, Thai, or Vietnamese nationals studying for an undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Newcastle's city-center campus.

• Global Scholarships from the Vice-Chancellor – Postgraduate

These scholarships are granted to international graduate students and there are five available each year. They each have a monetary worth of 4,000 GBP. Applicants must be overseas students with a Newcastle University undergraduate degree and a minimum of ABB in A Level or equivalent. Kenya, India, the United States of America, Thailand, Turkey, Malaysia, and Vietnam are all eligible.

• Fulbright Scholarships 

The Fulbright program offers a variety of scholarships to overseas students at Newcastle University, with varying amounts.
