James Madison University is a public research university in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Founded in 1908 as the State Normal and Industrial School for Women at Harrisonburg, the institution was renamed Madison College in 1938 in honor of President James Madison and then James Madison University in 1977. General Information
Scholarships provided by JMU:
- The Madison Scholarship is JMU's most prestigious scholarship programme. There is no need to fill out a separate application. This grant is open to all overseas students. The amount differs depending on the department.
- The Thomas A. Dingledine Award: To be considered for this scholarship, the candidate must complete a separate application form and submit it to the appropriate JMU departments. This grant is available to all overseas students. The amount of the scholarship varies.
- The Second Century Scholarship: The Second Century Scholarship is a scholarship that is available to all overseas STEM students (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). As part of their scholarship, the students will get a fee remission of 75%.
