Off-campus facilities: Off-campus renting may not be ideal but you can choose from single homes, duplexes, apartments and rooms, depending upon your needs. Available scholarships and application procedure for Scholarships When it comes to scholarships, domestic students would get far better opportunities than international ones. Domestic students can apply to more than one scholarship worth $1500 but international students can apply to at most two scholarships offered worth $1000. Crime rate: The overall crime rate of Vancouver remains low although, like in all big cities, certain areas are considered more dangerous than others. There has been a 9% increase in violent crime rate statistics in 2019 but the crime rate remains relatively low depending on the type of offense. We recommend doing a thorough research of crime rate statistics before you finalise anything. Nearby Airports: While you study in John Casablancas Institute, the nearest airport would be the Vancouver International Airport. With world-class facilities less than half an hour away, you really wouldn’t need to find an alternative for your domestic and international flights. Nearby Subways and train stations: The nearest subway station is the Olympic Village Station, 8 minutes away by car.
