Le Cordon Bleu is an international chain of culinary schools that offers courses in hospitality, gastronomy and culinary arts. On-campus facilities: Le Cordon Bleu Paris does not offer on-campus accommodation facilities but advises all students to secure private accommodation before they arrive in Paris. The college website recommends looking for a place via the internet so that you can move in as soon as you land. Off-campus facilities: Once your admission is confirmed, you can begin searching for a place to live in Paris. All enrolled students are provided a list of housing agencies and hotels to help them rent a place without having to worry about getting a fair deal. From en-suite, room, apartment to a studio, you can choose anything depending upon your need and budget. Important landmarks/places nearby: The Eiffel Tower is located very close to the place of your study so you can begin your exploration of the city there, Jardin du Potager is a great garden you can find yourself relaxing in. Cheminée du Front de Seine and Place Georges Mulot are other popular tourist attractions. You can also take a tour of the city if you want a quick introduction to Paris. Crime rate: The overall crime rate of Paris is 56.80, which is considered to be moderate. Paris is generally considered a safe city for both residents and tourists however street crimes remain a concern. Like all metropolitan cities, some areas of the city are considered safer than others. Nearby Airports: Both the international airports of Paris are located close by to Le Cordon Bleu. While Aéroport de Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is half an hour away, the Orly Airport is twenty minutes away from the campus location. You can book your flight without having to worry about the time of commuting. Nearby Subways and train stations: The nearest subway station is the Michel-Ange Molitor station, located five minutes away from the campus. Other nearby subway stations are Marcel Sembat,Porte de Saint-Cloud, Exelmans and Michel-Ange Auteuil. There are quite a few bus stops around the campus, but all of them are 15 minutes away.
