About

On-campus facilities: There is no on-campus accommodation but the residency options offered by the university are located close to the campus. The residence areas are in Swieqi / St Julians, which are about 10 minutes away from the campus. You can opt for a shared or a single room which comes with a kitchen, a living room space and other facilities. Water and electricity bills are included in the rent. You can fill the accommodation form available on the website to book your room. Off-campus facilities: If students are interested in seeking private accommodation, they would have to do it on their own as the Malta website doesn’t specify any procedure in case their students don’t choose University offered residency. Make sure you know all the rules and regulations before you enter into a contract and it is best you do some deep research before renting a place by yourself. Food facilities (Availability of vegetarian/Indian food): Indian food is also a great way to fight homesickness. Restaurants like Emperor of India and the Saffron Indian Restaurant are located close by to keep you connected to home.

Available scholarships and application procedure for Scholarships A number of scholarships are offered by Middlesex University to their students. 1. The Alumni scholarship is for all the students who want to return to the University after completing a graduate degree with first or second class honours. 2. The South Asia scholarship is for all the students who are applying from Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Under this scheme, all students would get a 20% scholarship. Under government scholarship and funding, students who have successfully completed their course are entitled to a 70% refund on their tuition fees. This is applicable for only local students and for international students who choose to work in Malta post completion of their course.

	<li>Important landmarks/places nearby: There are numerous beautiful places to get acquainted within Pembroke. Fort Madalena is 6 minutes away from the campus and a great place to begin your exploration of Pembroke. The Valletta Waterfront and the Cultural Center are other places you can have a great time at. While you look at popular tourist attractions, make sure you visit the beach and the many forts of the city.</li>
	<li>Crime rate: Malta is described as a safe place to visit and live. With little to no terrorist activities, the crime rate of violent crimes is also on the lower side. The overall crime rate of Malta stands at 31 instances of crime for every 1,000 inhabitants which are lower than the EU average of 59 cases per 1,000.</li>
	<li>Nearby Airports: One of the many benefits of studying at Middlesex University Malta is that the Malta International Airport is located a mere 15 minutes away from the campus location. You can easily drive to and from the airport even when in a rush without always having to worry about getting late.</li>
	<li>Nearby Subways and train stations: Unfortunately, there are no nearby options when it comes to trains or the metro. You can always rely on the bus though.
