General Information
Approximately 96% of the institute's students receive financial aid. Institutional grants and scholarships are awarded to over 86% of MS State students who obtain financial help. The university offers student loans and various scholarships for overseas students wishing to study in the United States.
Financial help for international students include -
- The award covers the Foreign Fulbright Program - Tuition and fees, books and supplies, travel expenses, a cost of living stipend, and health insurancd.
- AAUW International Fellowships - The AAUW grants international fellowships to international women studying or researching in the United States at American colleges. The scholarships are worth $18,000 for Masters's students, 20,000 for PhD students, and 30,000 for Postdoctoral students.
- International Scholarship Program of the Aga Khan Foundation - The award is a 50% grant scholarship.
- Freshman Non-Resident Academic Excellence Scholarships are given to students with a GPA of 3.0 or above and an SAT (1160-1250) or ACT score of 18 or higher (24-26). The prize is worth 8,000 USD and will be distributed over four years of study.
