The university was established in the year 2007 with the objective to focus on social and&nbsp;economic development in the field of technology, tourism, business management, and governance. It was founded by the Saudi-Austrian businessman, Mohammed Bin Issa Al Jaber, in contribution to the Vienna Chamber of Commerce &amp; Industry and the Vienna Tourist Board.&nbsp;</p>

<p>MU Students reside in both private and university-provided housing. There are no student residences at the university. Modul, on the other hand, has a deal with local private student housing providers.</p>

<p>The private MU campus is nestled into the mountainside and spans around 4000 square meters, with indoor and outdoor areas open to students, teachers, staff, and registered guests. Smart facility technology and tools are used to meet the facility requirements, allowing the campus to run more sustainably. The institution uses renewable energy sources and maintains solar panels on its roofs. Security personnel monitors the campus at night, and all technical installations are renovated and tested on a daily basis.<br />
Modul University provides 10 contemporary lecture rooms that are adaptable in size and equipped for cutting-edge teaching methods in the higher education industry, in addition to open areas, offices, and social rooms. They&#39;re all barrier-free.</p>
