Mohawk College

Mohawk College has awarded over $3 million in scholarships and bursaries in the past year to make education more affordable and support students in becoming Future Ready graduates.

Awards Available - 

• Scholarships - Awarded based on academic merit, athletics, volunteer experience, or other achievements.
• Bursaries - Awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and/or meet specific criteria.
• Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Scholarship - Designed to support students who have faced systemic barriers to equitable access to resources, programs, and opportunities. Applicants are asked to share their experiences with systemic barriers.

Award Applications - 

• Full-time post-secondary domestic and international students can apply for financial assistance through the Scholarships and Bursaries Application.
• This streamlined application process ensures students are automatically considered for scholarships and bursaries they are eligible for, simplifying the application process.

External Funding - 

• Students are encouraged to explore additional sources of funding, including OSAP grants and loans, external awards from other organizations, and the Canada Apprentice Loan Program for apprenticeship students.
• Students receiving Better Jobs Ontario sponsorship should inquire about the impact of receiving an award on their funding.
