Okanagan College is a public university which was established in 1963. It was established as B.C. Vocational School which was renamed as Okanagan College in 1965, and survived with this name till 1995. In 1995, it was named as Okanagan University College and existed with this name till 2005. In 2005 it was again named as Okanagan College.
