Overview
St Mary's College of California dates back to 1863, established as a boys-only diocesan college. In 1868, the De La Salle Christian Brothers took over management of it. Then Oakland, California, was chosen as the new location. It is currently a private college with ties to the Catholic Church. 40 academic majors are available throughout streams. It has three graduate schools, including Liberal Arts, Science, and Economics and Business Administration.
