Swiss Hotel Management School was inaugurated on 7 July 1902. It was built by the Swiss architect Eug&egrave;ne Jost on the Caux Mount. It is based at the Caux-Palace, which was the largest hotel during its time.

In 1992 The Swiss Hotel Management School was founded as a private hotel management school in Les Paccots. Later in 1995, it moved into the Caux Palace located above Montreux.

	<li>In 2004 it acquired the Mont-Blanc Palace and Belv&eacute;d&egrave;re hotel in Leysin and opened the Leysin campus.</li>
