The Institution of New Mexico was founded in 1889 to become the state university of New Mexico. Its main campus is over 800 acres and is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. 35 Fulbright scholars, two MacArthur Fellows, and a Nobel Laureate are among the university&#39;s illustrious professors. The University of New Mexico became the first university in the United States to launch a Signature School Program in collaboration with the CIA, or Central Intelligence Agency, in 2016, allowing students to speak with analysts and learn how to join the CIA after graduation.

	<li>International Amigo Scholarship - Students who achieve academically are automatically selected for this scholarship. For this award, undergraduate students must have a 3.0 to 3.5 GPA in upper secondary school or an SAT score of 1240, as well as an ACT score of 26.</li>
	<li>Leadership Prize &mdash; This scholarship is available to overseas undergraduate students. Students must have a 3.0 GPA in high school to be considered for admission.</li>
</ul>

Graduate Scholarships

The Overseas Amigo Award is a postgraduate scholarship available to international students. Because of their academic brilliance, students are automatically selected for this prize. The scholarship amount is variable. Graduate students must have a 3.0 GPA in their preceding undergraduate degrees to be admitted.
