The University of Rhode Island, also known as URI, is the state's primary public research, land grant, and sea-grant university. The university's main campus is in the village of Kingston. Still, it also has three minor campuses in West Greenwich: Feinstein, Narragansett, and the Alton Jones Campus. The university offers bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in 80 undergraduate and 49 graduate fields of study through eight academic colleges.
