Supported by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO), Chevening Scholarships boasts funding for future leaders and students from 160+ countries. It offers scholarships as well as fellowships.
The scholarship is open to international students who wish to pursue a one-year master's degree from the UK. This fully-funded scholarship covers the course fees, accommodation, and flight fares as well.
Eligibility Criteria -
- You must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country
- Work experience of about two years or 2,800 hours.
- It would help if you were equipped with an undergraduate degree akin to the requirements of the Master's degree in a university of your choice. Additionally, you must have applied to three different universities for a degree of your interest and have received an unconditional offer of a seat from at least one of them.
The entire process takes about eight months, wherein the British officials will interview the sifted applicants. It starts from November of each year and ends next year during September-October.
The fellowship is open to all international students who have had postgraduate qualifications from any fellowship-eligible country. The candidates who display extraordinary potential to excel in their desired field will be considered for this fellowship, given they have not received any UK scholarship or fellowship in the last five years.
