To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be a citizen and resident of India or Sri Lanka.
Be eligible for direct entry (no ELICOS or pathway) commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree which is under the La Trobe International Scholarship (LTIS) list of eligible courses.
Be a full-fee paying student (Non-Sponsored)
Have an overall WAM (AQF Equivalent) of 80% or above.
Meet all the conditions in the offer letter by the deadline provided.
A WAM is an average mark that takes into account the credit point value of the subjects that you have completed. It is based on the actual mark of all subjects completed in your course at any given time.

La Trobe University is a public funded &amp; research-oriented university that is located in the city of Melbourne, Australia. The university was established in 1964. And at the time of establishment, it was the third university in the state of Victoria and overall twelfth university in the whole Australia. With around 500 students for the first batch or semester, the university was officially opened by the Victorian premier, Sir Henry Bolte, and thus teaching began at the university. Later in the year 1987, Lincoln Institute of Health Science also got merged with the university, and was thus known as the Lincoln House faculty inside the premises of the university.

Iglu Student Housing, which was created specifically for students, combines the comforts of on-campus living with the freedom of off-campus living.

If you wish to live with friends or meet some new ones, pick a 4, 5, or 6-bedroom shared apartment with your own private bedroom and ensuite or twin-share bathroom. A studio apartment with a private en-suite bathroom is the best choice if you desire your own space.

There are two options available: Iglu Central and Iglu Chatswood.

The cost varies depending on the location and type of room. A weekly rental charge that includes all utilities and a basic internet package runs from approximately $346 to $496 (Chatswood) and $408 to $530 (Central) each week. There must be a security deposit made.
