C&eacute;gep de la Gasp&eacute;sie et des &Icirc;les is a bilingual English and French college of general and vocational education (known by the French acronym CEGEP) with an English section in Gasp&eacute;, Quebec, Canada. The CEGEP is affiliated with the ACCC and CCAA.

The principal campus in Gasp&eacute;. It has 5 campuses in Gasp&eacute;, Carleton, Grande-Rivi&egrave;re, &Icirc;les-de-la-Madeleine and Montreal.

The Fisheries Centre is in Grande-Rivi&egrave;re, Quebec. The Centre d&#39;&eacute;tudes Coll&eacute;giales des &Icirc;les is in the Magdalen Islands. The Centre d&#39;&eacute;tudes Coll&eacute;giales is in Carleton-sur-Mer, Quebec. The Montreal Campus was created with Matrix College of Management, Technology and Healthcare to welcome international students.

The mission is to offer general and professional collegial-level education.

On-Campus Accommodation&nbsp;

Strategically placed on campus, the Gasp&eacute; campus apartment is close to resources including the library, computer labs, and the school store.&nbsp;

The building can accommodate up to 255 people and provides two different types of lodging -&nbsp;

Apartments

<ul>
	<li>These flats are created to provide a cozy and social living environment.</li>
	<li>There are furnished single rooms (three to six people per unit), fully functional kitchens, and private shower rooms among the amenities.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

Pavilion Rooms

<ul>
	<li>The pavilion provides furnished single rooms in a somewhat varied configuration (usually 20 to 30 per pavilion).</li>
	<li>Shower-equipped communal restrooms are provided on each floor, and fully functional kitchens are available for use by a smaller number of tenants.</li>
	<li>The basic furniture needed for each room includes a bed, mattress, wardrobe, closet, desk and chair, lamp, garbage can, and drapes.</li>
</ul>

Apartments cost between $257 and $364 per month, while pavilion rooms cost between $230 and $327. Whether a room is in a refurbished or unrenovated pavilion, the cost will vary depending on the type of accommodation.

Student Sports

<ul>
	<li>The campus&#39;s Marcel-Bujold sports pavilion, which includes a 25-meter swimming pool, a gym, a training area, and climbing walls, is a buzzing center for a variety of activities.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Experience intense athletic competition by joining one of the other Bleu Marin teams, which compete in sports including mixed ultimate frisbee, women&#39;s volleyball, and men&#39;s and women&#39;s futsal.</li>
</ul>

Socio-Cultural Activities

<ul>
	<li>The Gasp&eacute; campus offers a variety of sociocultural events and venues that inspire you to explore your talents and creativity.</li>
	<li>Even though the Student Life Service has a wide range of programs available, you are welcome to suggest and plan your own initiatives.</li>
</ul>

Perspective Qu&eacute;bec Scholarships

<ul>
	<li>These awards total $9,000 throughout the course of the study, or $1,500 per semester for 6 semesters.</li>
	<li>These scholarships are available for courses in nursing, specialized education, early childhood education, computer science, forestry technology, and electrical engineering technology.</li>
</ul>

Numerous scholarships are offered through the C&eacute;gep, and students can browse a Directory of Different Scholarships.

Financial Assistance

<ul>
	<li>The Loans and Bursaries Program of the Government of Quebec enables Quebec students with limited financial resources to undertake full-time study at colleges or universities as well as vocational training.</li>
	<li>The Student Financial Assistance Office of the C&eacute;gep de la Gasp&eacute;sie et des &Icirc;les offers guidance and support for those applying for financial aid.</li>
</ul>

	<li>The most significant financial advantage for someone residing in Montreal is that property and rent costs are frequently less expensive than those in many other Canadian cities.</li>

Travel and Transportation&nbsp;

The Metro is Canada&#39;s busiest subway system in terms of daily utilization, with four lines and 68 stations.

	<li>The Soci&eacute;t&eacute; de transport de Montr&eacute;al (STM) runs the Metro.</li>
	<li>The horseshoe-shaped orange line and the green line both follow an east-west axis. Downtown is served by the green and orange lines.</li>
	<li>The short yellow line serves Longueuil and the South Shore, and the blue line travels east-west to the north of Mount Royal</li>
</ul>

There are four distinct seasons in Montreal, with winter being rather different from what most immigrants are used to in their home country. Early December to late
