History
In 1926, the Embry-Riddle Company opened the Embry Riddle School of Aviation. The school was closed in 1930 following a merge with Aviation Corporation. In 1939, the school was re-opened in Miami, Florida. They joined hands with the University of Miami to provide training under the Civilian Pilot Training Program to increase the number of pilots.
