EU Business School or EU for short, was founded in the year 1973 and now has several campuses located across Europe. The school is accredited with several organizations like the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), International Quality Accreditation (IQA) and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
The Munich campus is conveniently located in the heart of the German city and has an infrastructure and facilities that cater to giving the students the best education possible. The school offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of HR management, business administration, finance, marketing, sports management, tourism management, etc, Facts: 1. On-campus facilities: EU Business School offers student dorms to all interested students but also realises that students might want to rent privately. The school has partnered with three private dorms to provide a limited number of accommodation options to their students. Other students might have to consider alternate options which are also given on the website. Off-campus facilities: If you are looking for your space, the website recommends looking for a private apartment that suits your needs, anywhere in the city. You would have to keep in mind that this would require a bigger budget because renting a private apartment is already expensive and with it comes the added cost of daily commute. With an approximate cost of €700-800 per month, Apartment sharing is more favourable if you are on a budget and also want to socialise. Students can contact the accommodation officer for more details. Food facilities (Availability of vegetarian/Indian food): Nothing compares to the taste of Indian food. If you feel homesick and just want to feel at home, we recommend you pay a visit to one of the many Indian restaurants located in the campus vicinity. Ayurveda, Natraj, Maharani are some of the nearby restaurants you can begin with.

However, international students can apply for external scholarships that are based on the location of the institution and the course. Some of the external scholarships are: 1. Narotam Sekhsaria’s Scholarships: Applicable for various postgraduate science courses, this one time scholarship is worth INR 2,000,000. 2. Hani Zeini Scholarship: This scholarship is worth USD 1,000 and both undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply. Financial Aid

Facilities: The campus was recently remodelled and now boasts of state-of-the-art learning facilities. All the classrooms have plenty of light and ventilation and are equipped with the latest technology. The central courtyard is often frequented by the student body to relax and socialise. The student lounge is perfect to sit back and relax as snacks and beverages are available to the students along with the use of a television. The library has a brilliant environment to facilitate studying for all. Campus safety: We have put extensive measures in place on campus to ensure your health and safety. Please follow our official safety guidelines and signs throughout our buildings. Remember that we all responsible for keeping our community safe. Our facilities on campus have been thoroughly sterilized and are regularly disinfected. Ventilation has been increased to keep the air free of pathogens. Classrooms have been optimized and class sizes reduced to ensure social distancing. Safety screens have been installed in key places for added protection and temperature checks will be taken at our building entrances.

Munich’s metropolitan area has a population of over 6 million people. The city has seen glory as the capital of sovereign Bavaria in the beginning of the 19th century. An important cultural and commercial centre, Munich saw unrest and major political changes and was also bombed during the second world war. Today, Munich is an important centre for art, education, culture, science and tourism and has the best quality of living in the country and third worldwise as per the 2018 Mercer survey. Important landmarks/places nearby: Summers in Munich should be spent outdoors, whether it is by walking or sunbathing. There is a well-known sunbathing place in the eastern part of the Westpark that you can visit alone or with friends. From the Blue Lion of Munich to the Musical Fan Machine, there are numerous places to have a good time. Places like Waller, Nadisee and Water Fountain (Kein Trinkwasser) are also worth-visiting. Crime rate: Munich’s overall crime rate is 12.13, which is considered low. The crime rates for other criminal offenses also range from very low to low, depending upon the type and level of criminal offense. According to the Bavarian police, Munich has witnessed a continuous decrease in crime rates in the previous years. You can look up more information about safety in Munich before making a final decision. Nearby Airports: You wouldn’t have to drive far away to reach an airport while in a hurry to catch your flight. The Munich International Airport is just a 36 minute drive away from the campus. Moreover, since it is an international airport, your domestic and international travel plans would just need one stop. Nearby Subways and train stations: Subway stations are incredibly close to the campus, a few just a couple minutes away. Some of the nearby subway stations include: Schwanthalerhöhe, Poccistraße and Implerstraße. Bus stops are also equally close to the campus location so you can choose them for your daily commute as well. Some of the nearest bus stops are: Hansapark, Baumgartnerstraße and Ganghoferbrücke.
