Georgian College was established in 1967 during the formation of Ontario&#39;s college system. It is the first and only college in Canada designated a changemaker college by Ashoka U for our role as a leader in social innovation and change-making in higher education

On-campus accommodation

The college has on-campus accommodations at its Barrie, Orillia and Owen Sound campuses. The facilities provided will vary depending on the campus and your budget. Most of the accommodations have basic furniture and amenities like laundry, common area, kitchen, WiFi etc.

Georgian College provides a lot of study options in the form of courses. The faculty is experienced and the class size is 26 students. It is one of the best colleges if you want to do co-op along with your studies. The college has invested in it&#39;s infrastructure as well to provide various facilities and ensure safety at the campus.

Internships are a very good way to gain practical experience in your field. There are some internship opportunities at the college in which you get to work 14 week/40 hour per week at approved agencies.

The summers are clear, arid, and hot In Ontario while the winters are long, partly cloudy., and cool. The temperature usually varies from&nbsp;44&deg;F&nbsp;to&nbsp;93&deg;F&nbsp;throughout the year.
