<p>Northern College was founded during Ontario&rsquo;s College system in 1967. It was founded as a part of a provincial initiative to create institutions that provide various diploma and certificate courses. The first campus was Kirkland Campus than the Porcupine campus, then the Haileybury campus, and the Moosonee campus. It is a college of applied arts and technology in Northern Ontario.</p>

<p>The Northern College signed a collaboration with the Pures College of Technology to offer high-quality education, academic facilities, and a brighter future for students. All the courses and academic degrees at Pures receive full credit and accreditation from the Northern College.&nbsp;</p>
