NABA was established in 1980. It was bought by Bastogi Spa in 2002 and in December 2009 Bastogi Spa sold it to Laureate Education of Baltimore, Maryland. Facts: 1. NABA is listed by Italian ministry of education as a “legally recognized academy in the AFAM classification of schools of music, art and dance." 2. NABA received one of the forty “Ambrogino” certificates in 1994. 3. Magazines such as Frieze, Flash Art, and Kaleidoscopehave ranked NABA as a top design school. 4. Available scholarships and application procedure for Scholarships NABA SCHOLARSHIPS – PROJECT-BASED NABA supports highly motivated and innovative young people by offering a project-based scholarship to three students in each degree program. Each program has a different project challenge. NABA SCHOLARSHIPS – PORTFOLIO-BASED NABA supports highly motivated and innovative young people by offering portfolio-based scholarships for Two-year Master of Arts and Academic Masters programs. FINANCIAL AID NABA offers financial aid, consisting of a partial reduction of the tuition fee, to deserving students who have financial constraints. Requests will be evaluated based on the student’s academic merit combined with the student’s financial situation. In order to apply for financial aid, students must first meet enrollment requirements for their program of interest. Students are requested to: Fill in and sign the Financial Aid Application Form Write an official letter specifying the reasons for their request. Provide official documents proving their financial situation (e.g., income tax return, bank statements, pay stubs, etc.; documents must be submitted in English). Requests will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Board at the end of each month. Students will receive an official communication from the NABA International Admissions Department informing them of the Board’s decision. FORMER NABA STUDENTS Students who have earned a bachelor’s degree from NABA will enjoy a reduction of 25% on the total tuition fee except for the regional tax (tassa regionale per il diritto allo studio). The benefits are awarded through a competition, held annually on the basis of specific financial and merit requirements. Application Requirements and Regulations for the a.y. 2021/22 scholarships will be published in July 2021.
