Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) began with the establishment of the first technical education institution in Ireland named the City of Dublin Technical Schools back in 1887. Over time, other specialized colleges opened.

General Information
DIT has introduced a Centenary scholarship for the prospective international students who apply for master's studies at the DIT. Almost 60 scholarships are offered to the students beginning their studies in DIT.
The application procedure is as follows:-
- Check the chosen PG program’s eligibility for the Dublin Centenary Scholarship.
- Complete the application procedure
- Mail the duly filled application to centenary.scholarship@dit.ie.
Note- 1) Before applying for the scholarship, students must ensure that they accepted the offer of admission at DIT.
2) Since the DIT is one of the top-ranking universities in Ireland, the selection process for scholarships is very rigid. A panel reviews the application and then selects students based on academic merit and detailed application.
- The shortlisted students get information via email
- Students must accept the scholarship offer within two weeks. Else the scholarship will be considered null and void.
